the last decade it has also become of the fastest-growing cities in the UK. Following
substantial and ongoing redevelopment, this vibrant and affluent city has transformed
itself into a major commercial centre, with economic success complimented by a
lively art, sporting and entertainment scene. The waterfront area is particularly
renowned for its restaurants, hotels and drinking establishments.
Leeds is also the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales National Park, which itself
attracts millions of visitors every year.
