SW Planning team were instructed to secure planning permission for a 60,000 sqft extension to the Bridges. The brief incorporated a comprehensive exercise of engaging Sunderland City Councils planning team in pre-applications negotiations and undertaking a two day public exhibition to listen to comments from local members, key stakeholders and local residents. The community engagement process allowed the views of local people to be expressed and helped form part of the final planning application.
